Hand drawn artwork, classic Anime style animation, original score and a fluid real time combat system make Way of the Samurai 3 an enthralling experience. The players will become the new master of the Way of the Samurai, the Way of the Sword and the Way of the Hair. You will have to undergo difficult trials and fight skilled enemies to collect the three styles of martial arts. The game is developed by the same team that developed Bloody Roar on Gamecube. The new samurai title features enhanced combat features as well as a dynamic camera system offering various views of the battlefield. Samurai Combat Samurai Combat is the central focus of Way of the Samurai 3. The sole goal of this style of combat is to reach a desired accuracy bar. Therefore it is imperative that the player utilizes all the available techniques to defeat the enemy. However, Samurai Combat is not only about killing the enemy. This method of fighting is also about strategy and adjusting your attacks accordingly to the opponents’ attacks as well as any environmental factors that may help or hinder the execution of the battle. Following the game tutorial, the player will soon be left to his own in mastering this new style of fighting. Dynamic Camera System A first-of-its-kind, the dynamic camera system in Way of the Samurai 3 is a breeze to use. Simply by pressing up or down on the analog stick, the camera will quickly follow the player’s movements and direction, thus keeping up with the action. This is not a mere gimmick, the dynamic camera system truly facilitates the game. Underwater gameplay The dynamic camera system is also indispensable when playing underwater. The player can freely move around and explore the bottom of the sea. More than just a gimmick, the dynamic camera system is truly impressive in all its facets. Hand-drawn graphics The game is a feast to the eyes with its hand-drawn graphics. From the character models to the backgrounds, every single scene in the game is drawn by hand. By contrast, the character and weapon animations as well as some of the art work is made with the use of an anaglyph system. The anaglyph system combines two colored images and renders them in a single anaglyph image that is seen through an anaglyph filter which results in a much sharper image than the human eye could see.
