On that day, the temple was destroyed by an earthquake and it started a series of powerful tremors that changed the landscape of the known world forever. The name of this young man, Gordian, would become legendary. Gordian, has the last name of a series of ancient Greek Generals, who fought against a wave of invaders that arrived in the south of Europe and Asia Minor during the 5th century B.C. The leader of this military wave was a warlord named Perseus and his army of 20,000 men, followed him through the long journey to Greece. 14th September 1996, Greece. A warm autumn afternoon, the temple of Apollo is being raised by a group of men carrying and assembling the stones of this recently discovered temple. At the same time, thousands of tourists are packed in the temple’s courtyard. The crowd is excited, some already betting on which Greek city they think will be the next to host the ancient temple. They wait patiently, as a group of people at the front of the crowd fall to their knees, their hands crossed over their chests.
