Scars of Summer is a poker game developed by Dadeelab and launched on Steam on February 2017. Our team chose to develop this game ourselves, to make sure it would meet all of our requirements. Poker lovers would be interested in this game, and we hope you’ll love it too! We had the chance to check the game as a pre-alpha build. We really appreciate your feedback. The main goal of Scars of Summer is to provide a fun experience to the players. We wanted to make sure this experience would be really close to a real live poker game. That’s why we made a few design decisions which you may not like (e.g. no bluffing allowed, the table is not full) but they were made so that we can provide to our players the exact poker experience they would have in a real poker game. For example, we all love it when our opponents keep raising the stakes when we have the best hand – just like in a poker game. In Scars of Summer, you can win money and rank, just like in real poker games. We also have a unique feature which will probably be a popular option for you: players can anonymously practice while looking at the opponent’s hand and cards. This is a feature that was inspired by Pokerstrategy.com – a site which was visited by many of our players before the release of the game! You may think that poker is only about making money, but this isn’t the case! Poker is a game with a huge competitive side, and Scars of Summer will definitely help you improve your skills. The game features a strong, competitive leaderboard with your personal rankings and statistics. Making poker so that it can become more popular is a very important thing for us. We hope that Scars of Summer will help you improve your poker skills and encourage you to start playing real poker games and real poker tournaments!
